Uni-versalEXTRAS work with a wide range of different productions where industry pay schemes can vary depending on what and where they are filming. We will always confirm the pay scheme or pay rate being used before you accept any role that we offer to you. Please see below for more details.
Please feel free to download and familiarise yourself with the commonly used pay schemes which will give you an insight into what you can earn being an Extra or Supporting Artiste. Occasionally productions choose to use their own bespoke pay agreements.
The Film Artistes Association (FAA) agreement is a pay scheme often used for Feature Film and Television productions in and around London. The PACT agreement is commonly used for productions operating outside of the M25, with the TACT agreement covering Wales. The BBC and ITV Equity agreements pay schemes used are nationwide by these broadcasters.
Disclaimer: pay schemes are controlled by the relavent union for each agreement (not by Uni-versalEXTRAS). As such these agreements may be changed without prior notice. Please use only as a guide.
