Muppets Most Wanted

The Muppets are back and embarking on a massive world tour. It's not long before they unknowingly become part a major European jewel-heist headed by none other than Kermit the Frog... or so it seems!

How was Uni-versalEXTRAS Involved?

Uni-versalEXTRAS was the sole extras agency for Disney's Muppets Most Wanted feature film, supplying EXTRAS and supporting artistes for filming in London, Kent, Oxfordshire, Sussex and at Pinewood Film Studios.

Spent two happy but cold days at the Bluebell Railway. Ricky Gervais walked up and down the station as required but the Muppets were well tucked away, probably because they were cold! Good fun though, and I met some nice people on both sides of the camera.

It's been an enriching experience working on the set of Muppets Most Wanted - the art of acting taken to a whole new level of imaginary circumstances. In fact we were even interacting with some of the main cast characters who we had to imagine there, as they would be computer generated in post-production stage. Just like when as a child I was talking to my imaginary friends!

I spent several days on location as a Russian Gulag Prisoner. This was my first film and was so exciting to be a part of. My 3 year old son is thrilled to see me in the background every time he watches the DVD. If you are considering extra work then just do it! A wonderful experience and whilst on set not only did I earn great money, I made genuine friends for life too.
